This needs to be seen, needs to be spread. it’s something people should care about. People in the higher echelons are trying to control society and it’s unfathomable that something like this could actually get by.

That said, there needs to be support for those targeted by this sort of thing. Basic human freedoms are something we need to stand up for and fight. And these people in The Philippines need to follow something roughly resembling the US Declaration Of Independence. There is a tyrannical ruling system behind this. Our declaration would have had us rise up against the tyranny.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

So says the declaration. It also covers the actions a populous should take if their government turns to tyranny. Our very second amendment, the right to bear arms, was founded on the ideal of the people defending themselves against a higher power that intended to limit the rights of the general population.

I’m not saying bloodshed is the answer. however, I AM saying something needs to be done. The act that made this person a criminal is a breach of freedom of expression and a blatant act of hatred on the fact that people will say what they want when they want and, short of having their tongue removed, will not be stopped in doing so.

Now I detest the idea of “inciting rebellion” anywhere but, in this sort of case, i have advice for those living in countries that support such a measure.

Rise up. Where there is a demand to stop doing something normal and harmless, rise up and make it known it isn’t right. Call to the others of your people who have been oppressed and tell them that no longer will other people, who have no more rights than you, control the words that leave you mouth or the letters that your hand scrawls. It is a disgusting act to attempt to control that which others say. This isn’t the 12th century in the Chinese Empire. We’re allowed to think and speak our minds.

The act to silence public opinions is the act of embracing madness.

Don’t fall into this madness. Transcend it with enlightened reason
